A Luxurious Farewell: Bali’s Grand Finale on Day 7

On our last day in Bali, we relished the final moments in the resort’s embrace. Before bidding farewell, we immersed ourselves in the soothing rhythm of fitness and the refreshing pool activities. Along the beachside rocks, a surprise awaited us – thousands of crabs, a spectacle that amazed the kids. After a delicious grand breakfast, it was time to check out.

With our flight scheduled for the night and the airport beckoning by 7 p.m., we found ourselves with a precious window until 6 p.m. It was then that my husband presented me with a gift that exceeded all expectations – a two-hour spa package at the luxurious Thalasso Spa of the Grand Mirage Resort. Though it came with a hefty price tag, every moment spent there was worth its weight in gold.

The spa’s ambience was a masterpiece of tranquillity, fulfilling my every wish for a calm and soothing retreat. Opting for the full-body sunburn treatment, the experience unfolded like a royal indulgence. From a foot wash and massage to a whole-body wrap of aloe vera and avocado cocooned in banana leaves, followed by a specially crafted sunburn facial, the skilled masseuse’s touch was a symphony of relaxation. The gentle whole-body massage, hair wash, spa, and heavenly head massage added the final strokes to this regal experience. The atmosphere transported me to a serene forest, surrounded by nature’s embrace, and the masseuse treated me like royalty.

This spa session became the perfect remedy for the sunburn that had plagued me. The unbearable pain transformed into sheer relief and comfort, thanks to the expertise of my masseuse. The aroma, the ambience, and the entire experience left an unforgettable mark, concluding our Bali tour on the most exquisite note imaginable. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to allocate a special spot in their travel budget for such a spa treatment at least once in their lifetime.
