Garden is my happy place!

Phool phool bhanwra dole,
Man main goonje teri yaad!
Baag main papeeha bole,
Peehu, peehu, piyu kahaan!

I m a crazy plants lover. Whatever space available in my house, I have used it all to plant indoor or outdoor but houseplants. My husband keeps on teasing me for my crazy love for plants. He says, “Ek din me subhah utha to, sher chetaah ghoom rahe the mere room me, itna junlge bana diya tumne ghar ko”.

This little bundle of joy, my bagiya, is a very important part of my life. I feel so happy to see them hatching, growing, blooming. They are my babies and I love to take care of them. My mornings start with visiting them all, removing dry leaves, watering them, adding more soil if needed, raking, adding my homemade fertilizers like banana peel water, buttermilk, and I started making decompose of my own, using kitchen waste.

I have lots of plants including roses, tuberose, shewanti, Champa, lemongrass, mint, Mirchi, curry leaves, insulin, hibiscus, mogra, tulsi, aloe vera, giloy, bhramha kamal, snake plant, spider plant, jade, money plants, erica palm and lots of other show plants. Recently I added parijaat, bael patra, drumstick, chameli, bougainvillaea, Madhu Malti to my bagiya. I wish to have more plants, but now I don’t have more space to plant them.

When I will have my own garden, I will have lots of big trees in there, which I m not able to plant in pots. It will also have an organic farm for vegetables and fruits. There is a different blog for my dream garden.

Plants give fresh air, lots of oxygen, beauty, a cheerful atmosphere, peace of mind, butterflies and birds and lots more. How can anyone not fall in love with them? So plant seeds, grow blessings.
