Jurassic world!

We have all grown up watching the Jurassic World Dinosaur movies. Do you still remember the bubbles in the water glass, when a T-Rex thumped by close? It was so scary and fun as well to watch and live in that imaginary dinosaur world. I created one such Jurassic World at my home for my son, Ishaan who turned 9 years old on 18 July 2021. Get ready and stomp inside the thrilling birthday party!

Let us start with the preparations for the party. First of all, we created dinosaur bones at home using wheat flour, salt and water and baking them and put those bones inside a mud tub with brushes given to kids to give them the feel of Archaeology. Secondly, we took Ishaan to Kothi Road and got his pics clicked alongside, real-looking dinosaurs using Google 3d lens. Later got those posters printed and put them on the wall.

We created big dinosaur models to keep them at the entrance to welcome the guest. Also created a gate similar to the Jurassic World gates shown in the movies. We had two jeeps waiting at the entrance with the Jurassic stickers pasted on them, giving it a similar look to movies. I made a dinosaur costume using cardboard, which looked so cool that my kids used to wear it later also during their playtime.

For the stable and other decorations made a dinosaur Happy Birthday banner in the shapes of dinosaur bones, made dinosaur paper hats, cardboard dinosaur number 9, dinosaur masks and lots more. Also made a dinosaur prop for the photo booth and dino bookmarks to give along with the return gifts.

I organized games also based on the theme like Feed the T-Rex(throw plastic balls inside T-Rex’s mouth), Ring the Triceratops, stomp on dino feet, solve dinosaur puzzles, archaeology and many more.

Lastly, we had tasty food, chocolate pudding and a customized dinosaur-themed cake for lunch. It was an awesome, fun-filled and super successful party with Ishaan’s friends and family.
