Singapore Day5

Parents don’t really

go on vacation.

They just take care

of their kids in a

different city!

So very true. to take out some time for ourselves, we got up early in the mornig at 5.30 a.m. and went for a mornig walk on setosa beach, while kids were fast asleep in the room.

Singapore is a lazy country. They shut down all the activities at 6 p.m. and their morning also starts very late. So when we went for walk at 5.30 a.m. raste pe ek kutta bhi nahi dikh raha tha. It was dark and scary, but also fun and adventurous. Also as it is said, “Kuch logon ke saath rehne se hi sabh theek ho jata hai”, I had my sweetheart Shantanu with me.

Ghumte ghumte, we explored a path to silosa beach. Early in the morning is the best time to spend at the beach. Silosa beach is very beautiful, clean and calm. The light was perfect to take photos and record the reels. It was so peaceful there with just the soothing sound of the seawater waves. Playing in the sand and making sand castles is one of my favourite hobbies. We spent a very good time there.

It was my son, Ishaan’s 10th birthday that day. So it was time to wake him up with a surprise balloon decoration and cake. Also, a delicious breakfast and lots of fun activities at the poolside were waiting for us. Walk-on-water activity in the swimming pool was fun. Kids got into the waterpark again. It was so much fun, that it became difficult to take them out of it for the other activities planned for the day.

Next, we headed for the Skyline Luge ride, Situated on the spectacular Island of Sentosa, which is Singapore’s best gravity-fuelled thrill ride! The luge is a self-driving car system in which riders control the speed by pushing a pair of handlebars back and forth. The luge ride goes downhill, relying on the gravitational pull to move. After the ride, the Skyride, using chairlifts, brings riders, luge carts, and helmets back to the starting point. It was fun and as their tagline says, Once is never enough, we went for 2 luge and 2 skyline rides.

While My Husband and elder son were enjoying the segway ride, I and my younger son enjoyed the beach. The younger one loves beaches. It was fun playing in the sand and other beach games provided by the resort with him. Then was my and my elder son’s time. Sentosa beach is so much safe, that we both were freely enjoying roaming in the shuttle buses, taking a skyline ride and strolling along the beach.

Had dinner at the Trapizza restaurant on the beach side. The ambience was very nice and the thin crispy pizza was tasty.

Today is gone. Tomorrow is another day. From here to there, fun and adventure are everywhere.
