Singapore Day6

Jumping up high in the sky,

Feeling like it could fly.

Playing with friends,

The party never ends.

Smooth and wet,

Soft and intelleigent,

Oh beautiful and pretty

Dolphins,

here we come to play with you!

It was the last day in Singapore. We ended our tour with a very special Dolphin Discovery program at the Dolphin Island, Resort World, Sentosa. Before it, after dropping kids off at Resort’s Toot Club, we visited Fort Siloso.

You have to take a 10 mins skywalk to reach Fort Siloso, which is amazing. It is actually a transparent floor bridge, from where you can have a very nice view of the whole Sentosa island. Fort Siloso is Singapore’s well-preserved coastal fort that served as part of the country’s defences. It is an interesting place to visit. You can wander about and imagine what life was like in the past, when Singapore was at war, during World War II.

Our last and most special inclusion, “The Dolphin Discovery” was waiting for us. We reached the Resort World’s Dolphin Island and changed into special costumes for dolphin discovery. 60 mins program to get an up close and personal encounter in shallow water. You get to enjoy close interaction with dolphins to observe and understand their behaviour. At the same time, you can learn interesting facts about them.

Our Dolphin’s name was Shoy Shoy. Our kids got so attached to it, that still whenever he sees any dolphin on the internet or a poster of a dolphin, he thinks it is Shoy Shoy. Both the kids and even we enjoyed playing with it. The dolphins are so soft and smooth, that we could not take our hands off them. The black costume that they gave us, was also cool and very good-looking.

It was time to say goodbye to Shangrila, Sentosa Island, Singapore. Sentosa se to jaane ka man hi nahi kar raha tha. What a heavenly place it was. But we had to.

We collected our luggage from Shangrila and headed to Singapore Changi Airport, which is another very famous attraction in Singapore. The tallest indoor waterfall at Changi mall was mesmerizing. They had lots of other entertainment and rides inside Changi, but we did not get time to explore them. And then finally our flight took off to India.
