Amsterdam, the Venice of the Netherlands

Amsterdam, often referred to as the Venice of the Netherlands, is a city renowned for its picturesque canals, historic architecture, and vibrant culture. Known for its beautiful streets, delicious desserts, and a nightlife that never sleeps, Amsterdam offers a unique blend of old-world charm and modern vibrancy. The transportation connectivity throughout the country is just superb and travelling is very easy. Simply search your destination on Google Maps, reach the station accordingly, and tap your ticket—either a physical ticket or a scan code on your mobile—on the bus or train, and you’re ready to go. This city is also famous for its museums, including the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank House, as well as its rich history and welcoming atmosphere. We did not visit the museums though. Here’s a detailed account of my recent trip to this captivating city.
