Thrills and Adventures on Bali Day 2: Rafting and ATV Quad Biking
Day 2 of our Bali was all about embracing adrenaline-pumping activities: river rafting along the Ayung River and navigating the rugged terrain on ATV Quad Bikes. It turned out to be a day filled with twists, turns, and an abundance of fun.
Ayung River Rafting:
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Ayung River rafting adventure, an experience that quickly became the best adventure I’ve had to date. For two thrilling hours, we navigated the river’s twists and turns, faced heart-pounding ups and downs, experienced friendly splashing and even bathed under a waterfall. What made it even more memorable was our lively coach Mr. Aero, whose enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to the entire experience. The investment for those two hours of excitement was undoubtedly worth every penny.
All the credit goes to my husband’s internet searching skills which led us to the best rafting experience. Thanks to his efforts, we discovered the ultimate rafting experience that left us with unforgettable memories.

ATV Quad Biking:
Following the river rafting, we geared up for another round of excitement with ATV Quad Biking. The journey took us through farms, bumpy roads, muddy fields, and even under a refreshing waterfall. The course had it all – high jumps, challenging turns, and the perfect dose of adventure. I confess that I was nervous to ride the heavy bike, but my husband was a champ and enjoyed every moment of the ride. Even though the kids did not ride the bike and were sitting at the back, they had a blast, finding joy in every twist and turn.

Dinner at Queen’s of India restaurant:
Another Indian restaurant with food tastier than the Bollywood restaurant in front of the Ubud palace was where we had dinner. Here we saw lots of Gore enjoying our Indian food. Even they want some spice in life.
Tips of the day:
- Booking for these adventures is recommended to be done online. Local log bahut ghadte hai. Even online there is lots of scope for bargaining. 5 times jyada rate batate hai wo log.
- If you are travelling with kids, first make sure they are allowed to do the activities or not. Some companies allow them some don’t. Luckily we got suitable deals.
- Hotel reception also gives us the numbers for booking the activities if we enquire there.
Day 2 in Bali was all about conquering nature’s challenges – from the exhilarating ups and downs of river rafting to the adventurous twists of ATV Quad Biking. We were eagerly anticipating what the following days had in store for our Bali adventure.
